Underappreciated Canadian Singer-Songwriters!

Rebekah Higgs: Rebekah Higgs (2006)
Lovely, sweet folk-pop sort of album. It stands the risk of being generic, but I don't care because it is a delightful listen and her accent makes me swoon

Matthew Barber: Ghost Notes (2008)
A fantastic artist who lives in the shadow of his popular sister Jill Barber (whom I've never actually heard, curiously; I ought to get on that). I consider the album alt-country and folk, but the internet seems more inclined to classify it as indie pop. Judge for yourself.

My posts are getting lazier and lazier...
