Pants Yell! - Songs for Siblings (2004)

This album was, curiously enough, my first twee disc. I have some attachment to Pants Yell! because of that (although I am not terribly fond of 2007's Alison Statton).

Songs for Siblings is pretty simple, as twee goes (which can be an extremely positive point). You know what to expect-- but that makes it no less enjoyable. It's a pleasant listen with decent melodies, and I've a fondness for Andrew Churchman's vocals. Whether you fall in love with the album ort not is entirely up to you, but I can only imagine what sort of cold heart it would take to dislike it.

  1. I found Pants Yell's "Alison Statton' amongst a pile of about 300 CD's I was allowed to salvage while I was working for a landlord to clear out, repair & renovate a junked upped, filthy all belongings left behind by Tenants who had done a Runner back in 2008 or 2009. Absolutely loved that album unlike the Maestro Blogger here. Couldn't find any info on them or any hint of other stuff though. Haven't listenred for a while but I'll go listen again assuming I still have that one ...if so I can add finally add another offering to the Pants Yell Folder.
